Meet E-flight, bilateral TTX chosen in the last open call.
E-flight is a collaboration between two SME's: CATEC or Advanced center for aerospace Technologies , (Spain) and ABzero, Micro SME (Italy). The aim of this collaboration is to implement energy consumption optimization strategies to improve the performance, and consequently, the industrial and commercial impact of LEONARDO, the smart delivery system for blood and hemocomponents through autonomous drones.
ABzero, developed LEONARDO, the first smart delivery system for the fast , safe and efficient transportation of highly valuable and perishable biological materials such as blood, organs, tissues, and medical sample tests by means of autonomous drones. They collaborate with CATEC to develop specific software architecture that enables the implementation of a set of energy consumption algorithms to optimize the energy consumption of the UAV, the efficiency, reliability and safety of the Leonardo system.

TETRAMAX is a Horizon 2020 innovation action within the European Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative in the domain of customized and low-energy computing for Cyber Physical Systems and the Internet of Things. As a Digital Innovation Hub, TETRAMAX aims to bring added value to European industry, helping to gain competitive advantage through faster digitization. The project partially builds on experiences with the TETRACOM project during 2013-2016. TETRAMAX was launched in Sep 2017 and runs until Dec 2021.
