TETRAMAX at ICT2018

Beginning of December, TETRAMAX joined the ICT2018 Conference, Europe’s largest conference on Information and Communication technologies with over 6.000 participants.

As part of the SAE- initiative, TETRAMAX was present at the booth, introducing visitors to and informing them about the mission and opportunities of TETRAMAX.

Detlef Olschewski from the German SME Cleopa GmbH stated: "Cleopa is one of the TETRAMAX Technology Transfer Experiment (TTX) winners 2018. Therefore, I was invited to present the TTX Nox.Box project at ICT2018 in Vienna. It was a successful event, we had many opportunities to present the concept of TETRAMAX experiments but also to get in contact with many future collaboration partners from the public, research institutes and other companies. Also many people who are planning to apply for TTX came by to discuss the process and results so that they can submit a better and morespecific proposal. To summarize: all thumbs up for the good organization of DIH, but even more for the valuable new contacts collected in Vienna."

The TETRAMAX project was also introduced during the Networking Sessions to a diverse audience. The focus lay on its possibilities to apply for funding to experiment with novel energy saving IT solutions. The audience was enthusiastic about the TETRAMAX ambitions, which was nicely illustrated by EVERMORE, a technology transfer experiment funded in TETRAMAX.

„Being part of the ICT 2018 has been very fruitful for TETRAMAX. We recognized that TETRAMAX and its funding system via Technology Transfer Experiments (TTX) is already well known in the ICT community and our presence at ICT 2018 was therefore another important milestone.” Bernd Janson, ZENIT

In addition, also the HiPEAC initiative was introduced: hipeac.net.
