The first call for Value Chain Oriented and Interdisciplinary Technology Transfer Experiments (TTX) addressed innovation projects between three or more European partners in the domain of customized and low-energy computing for cyber-physical systems and the Internet of Things. In total, 14 eligible TTX proposals were submitted for this first value chain-call by 31 May, 2018.
“Value Chain Oriented and Interdisciplinary TTX are a brand-new, and truly experimental, form of tech transfer projects within TETRAMAX. We are glad about the great response from the community to our open call and look forward to welcoming our new TTX partners”, says Rainer Leupers, TETRAMAX coordinator.
For this call, external experts thoroughly evaluated all proposals to see if they could fulfil the aim of testing and developing a solid new technology and to explore the possibility of transcending to a valuable product or service for a broader market.
Three promising experiments were selected: BLEUN, NOX.BOX and Eco-Rural-IoT. TETRAMAX has allocated €238.778 of financial support for these new TTX. The chosen applicants identified the right consortia, across the national borders and across different areas, tackling issues with a clear ecological, economical, and societal focus.
List of selected TTX:
|TTX Title||TTX Partners||Countries|

A new call for Value Chain TTX will be launched in December 2018. More information about the calls: TTX calls
TETRAMAX is a Horizon 2020 innovation action and provides an implementation of the European Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative in the domain of customized and low-energy computing for cyber physical systems and the internet of things. The total budget of the TETRAMAX project is 7M€ and is coordinated by RWTH Aachen University, with 23 partners, covering almost all EU countries.
The project partially builds on experiences with the TETRACOM project during 2013-2016. TETRAMAX was launched in Sep 2017 and will run for four years.
