Workshop: SME experiments as a way to forge collaborations and support regional adoption of digital technologies

On 23 September, Eurada and Fundingbox invited two EU projects – BOWI and TETRAMAX to talk about their approach to support the uptake of digital technologies across Europe and forge sustainable collaborations.

Both TETRAMAX and BOWI aim to boost innovation, supporting SME experiments and building EU collaborations. During the workshop they explained their specific approach on how to forge these collaborations and how to involve specific regions. Some SMEs also shared their experiences, view and needs.

ABOUT BOWI BOWI stands for Boosting Widening Digital Innovation Hubs. BOWI aims to build a digital innovation hub (DIH) network based on experience and practice sharing. A network that will support companies in turning their most innovative projects to life, aid investors in discovering the leaders of digital revolution and help development agencies understand the needs of industry. BOWI community consists of digital innovation hubs from regions with different technology adaptation levels, SMEs and mid-caps, development agencies and investors, both private and agencies, that all are thinking about the economy of tomorrow.

About TETRAMAX

TETRAMAX is a Horizon 2020 innovation action within the European Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative in the domain of customized and low-energy computing for Cyber Physical Systems and the Internet of Things. As a Digital Innovation Hub, TETRAMAX aims to bring added value to European industry, helping to gain competitive advantage through faster digitization. The project partially builds on experiences with the TETRACOM project during 2013-2016. TETRAMAX was launched in Sep 2017 and runs until Dec 2021.
