Meet the Tetramax TTX: CORONA

The Tetramax TTX: CORONA: Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)-Based Collaborative Robotics for a Low-Energy Machine Economy in Manufacturing Environments

Meet TETRAMAX technology transfer experiment: "CORONA", which combines Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) with collaborative robotics. This is a collaboration between German-based Pumacy technology and the University of Lubljana.

It's a platform for industrial machines such as manufacturing robots or 3d printers, which allows them to work together autonomously in a transparent and trustworthy manner, regardless of who owns them or where they are.

A proof of concept platform achieves this by using proven blockchain technologies and a system of smart contracts. Machines can interact with the system directly and all actions must follow a set of precise and transparent rules. They're also securely locked making it impossible to conceal or modify interactions and agreements.

About TETRAMAX

TETRAMAX is a Horizon 2020 innovation action within the European Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative in the domain of customized and low-energy computing for Cyber Physical Systems and the Internet of Things. As a Digital Innovation Hub, TETRAMAX aims to bring added value to European industry, helping to gain competitive advantage through faster digitization. The project partially builds on experiences with the TETRACOM project during 2013-2016. TETRAMAX was launched in Sep 2017 and runs until Dec 2021.
