European Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative issues their first newsletter

The first issue of the new quarterly SAE newsletter has been published and it is a valuable source of information on the SAE initiative

The Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative of the European Commission brings together projects and institutions that cooperate to support the future digitisation of the European industry.

The first issue of the new quarterly SAE newsletter will cover:

  • “Open Calls” of the individual projects of the initiative: addressing SMEs with information to support digitisation initiatives by quick and concerted granting of funds.

  • Activities of the SAE initiative. At the moment e.g. Technology Experts are called to collect and rate novel technologies that might dominate the process of digitisation in future (Open survey).

  • Events, conferences, meetings etc. where the SAE initiative contributes key notes, presentations or an information booth, where interested people can get in contact and network to join the initiative.

Also the SAE homepage got a small face-lift. You can find e.g. more than 20 "success stories" of digitization initiatives where first users and technology providers talk about their common work on the way towards digitisation: from the basic problems to be solved to the digital skills needed and the commercialisation of the achieved solutions.

On the SAE homepage there is a special feature planned to share best practices and find suitable partners for your future projects, it will act as a central contact point and link regional, national and European digitisation initiatives.

An updated SAE brochure will be issued soon with a focus on Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH): key enablers in the ongoing process of digitisation of the European industry.

You can subscribe to the SAE newsletter via E-Mail to: news@smartanythingeverywhere.eu.
