It will run 3 open calls to bring together DIHs from digitally mature and emerging regions with the goal to aid companies from emerging regions to reach new levels of digital excellence. This collaboration will be run in a form of 10-month-long technology transfer experiments. TETRAMAX will be supporting and mentoring developing hubs in providing all the necessary services and infrastructure to reach the goals defined by the companies. Furthermore, the BOWI project will explore the most attractive and sustainable cooperation options between the hubs to create a sustainable business model for the future. The companies will be able to test and implement sophisticated digital solutions in one of predefined technology areas and receive funding to cover their costs. In total we will distribute € 4,8 M between 60 beneficiaries.
The results and findings of these experiments will form the basis to the BOWI DIH widening network. Additionally, it will lay the groundwork to start dialogue with investors and regional development agencies. Aim of this dialogue is to understand further digital development trends in European regions and identify the ways in which the stakeholders can support the technological uptake and ensure even access to sophisticated technological solutions.
