ACACES 2020 summerschool grants

TETRAMAX is offering grants for the TETRAMAX- course track in the 16th International Summer School on (ACACES) Advanced Computer Architecture and Compilation for High-Performance and Embedded Systems summerschool.

From 3 March to 12 April 2020, students can apply for a grant to join the TETRAMAX track at the ACACES summerschool !

It will be an interesting track thanks to renowned experts:

  • Ray Garcia - Buoyant Capital: Entrepreneurship for scientist considering forming an innovative new venture
  • Paul Pietrangelo - Lira: Entrepreneurial finance
  • Riccardo Apreda - ErreQuadro: Intellectual Property Rights

The grant covers the registration fee of 1.000 EUR. This includes:

  • Hotel for 6 nights (12-18 July 2020)
  • Tuition and course notes
  • All breakfast, lunches, dinners and coffee breaks for the duration of the summer school
  • Transportation Rome – Fiuggi – Rome
  • Access to the Spa facilities at the conference hotel
  • Participants who get selected for a grant will only have to buy the flight tickets themselves.

All students have to select a course in each of the 4 slots.

There are three TETRAMAX courses that are obligatory for students who apply for a TETRAMAX grant: - Ray Garcia - Buoyant Capital: Entrepreneurship for scientist considering forming an innovative new venture - Paul Pietrangelo - Lira: Entrepreneurial finance - Riccardo Apreda - ErreQuadro: Intellectual Property Rights

Procedure: Applicants should fill in the application online, choose all 3 TETRAMAX courses and one additional by choice and choose ' I want to apply for a grant'.

DEADLINE for registration for a grant: 12 April, 2020.

TETRAMAX is a Horizon 2020 innovation action within the European Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative in the domain of customized and low-energy computing for Cyber Physical Systems and the Internet of Things. As a Digital Innovation Hub, TETRAMAX aims to bring added value to European industry, helping to gain competitive advantage through faster digitization. The project partially builds on experiences with the TETRACOM project during 2013-2016. TETRAMAX was launched in Sep 2017 and runs until Dec 2021.
